WHO IS THIS ?
My name is Robert Zech. I am based in Berlin. I completed my bachelor studies with a 6-month internship in China in the field of construction project management in early 2014. I then worked in Hamburg and Cuxhaven on a research project for offshore wind farms. In September 2018, I graduated at 'Technische Universität Braunschweig' as Master of Science while working at the institute for geotechnics and soil mechanics: 'Institut für Grundbau und Bodenmechanik'. The exciting thing about civil engineering is, that it is the key part to our society: Without civil engineering the world would not look like it does today.
Since 2018 i worked in the field of ground engineering as a construction manager. As of July 2024 i took on new challenges in that field as head of digitalization, lean construction and sustainability.
I love working on projects where I can see the passion that has been put into it just by looking at its outcome. Besides my engineering career, I am also passionate about photography.
